Villette by Charlotte Brontë

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë is my favourite book of all time. Dan and I regularly visit London Southbank’s Sunday Book Fair (Next to the National Theatre and BFI), where I picked up a beautiful copy of Villette, which I have never read.

For many, Villette is considered Bontë’s autobiographical masterpiece, and halfway through, it is very difficult for me to disagree.

Portrait of a woman with short blonde hair, smiling, wearing a blue jacket and necklace.
