All Was Not Well

Moving to London from Australia at 29, was my last ditch, hard won, ‘f#*k you’ to the haters and love letter to my passion and dedication. I was going to make it against all odds, in spite of my self, and my arrested stage career was going to get off-the-ground if it killed me.

A few months later, COVID-19 hit decimating the theatre industry, my dreams and my sense of direction.

After meeting my future husband Dan in late 2020, I discovered that another dream, laying dormant in the wake of my ambition, was ready to be taken up. And that I, was ready to lay the Big Dream down and become what I had always disavowed and avoided…a homemaker.

Here I hope my inner struggles, stumbles, searchings, victories, and sense of humour can help others trying to navigate their thirties, challenge stigma, find peace with change and discover new ways of being…
